(Hate to reply to myself a minute later, but I guess my attention span is a tad abbreviated at the mo.)

Two weeks ago in Reno, I saw in a div 3 game, a very well-known experienced player do the following:

* Player 1 is short on time makes a move announce score.

* VWKEP creates some distraction, then says, "you didn't announce your score right," and starts opponent's clock.

* Flustered and distracted, Player 1 recounts with her clock running using up valuable time.

Substitute JG for player1, and I guarantee that the next score I announce will be the cumulative for my following play.

When I brought this to the attention of someone later, I found that VWKEP had a long reputation for doing such things. But, alas, there's recourse.
