Scanning my domain's March access logs provided me a bit of amusement with respect to successful and unsuccessful advice search engines have given to users that have pointed them to some of my pages.
The following search strings probably actually gave the people what they were looking for when they came around:
hoax+ending+gry
pictures+of+scrabble
death+of+dirk+bogard
jeffrey+kastner
However,
The 3 following strings:
dallas+forklifts
green+beret+and+training+regimen
guile+blackjack
yielded the Sports Illustrated Scrabble article.
Surprise, Mr. GreenBeret wannabe!
But that was nothing compared to the whammy laid upon the people searching for any of:
chinese+bakery+london
how+to+make+an+icosahedron
duty+free+cigarettes+indian+reservations
and getting hit with my 100k Australia trip report.
oops!
But the following search string is my favorite:
lez+bis+and+gay
which yielded ....
the 3 letter word list!
